Quick Start

Get started with AosEdge — a unified deployment and mixed-critical orchestration platform for SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) and connected devices.

With this Quick Start, you can quickly experience using AosEdge with our virtual device AosVM and/or Raspberry Pi 5 as physical device.

Procedure at a glance​

1. Set up your host​

Confirm the requirements. Install required dependencies and the Aos CLI tools to your host PC.

2. Get access to AosCloud​

Register on AosCloud as both OEM user and SP (Service Provider) user.
Install AosEdge certificates to enable a secure connection.

3. Create a Unit​

Register and provision your device to AosEdge as Unit, so the device is managed and enabled to deploy container as Service.

4. Create a Unit-set​

Group multiple units into a Unit-set to make deployments easier via Verification unit-set.

5. Create a "Hello World" Service​

Develop your first “Hello World” container service, package, sign, and upload to prepare for the deployment.

6. Deploy the Service​

Link your Service and Unit using a Subject to deploy the Service.
