Update Manager (UM)

Introduction

Update Manager (UM) is responsible for updating different system parts: BIOS, bootloader, roofs, other devices firmware, security modules, etc.

Packages

UM consists of the following packages:

Module	Description
config	provides configuration for UM itself and its modules (plugins)
database	persistent storage for UM and its plugins
umclient	handles communication with the CM umcontroller
updatehandler	performs system update
updatemodules	plugins that implement the update of system components
