Audit (logging)

Purpose

The audit functionality in the AosEdge platform aims to provide comprehensive, secure, and compliant monitoring of key system events. Designed primarily for Admin, OEM and SP Users, the feature captures a wide range of actions, from unit provisioning to service management, storing them securely in the Cloud.

Configuration

The system allows for configurable data retention periods (MetricDataRetentionPeriodInDays into TaskCfg Vault) and real-time alerting, enhancing both compliance and operational responsiveness.

Access to Audit logs

Users can interact with the audit logs through both API and a graphical user interface, with capabilities for advanced filtering, searching, and exporting of logs.
